Hebron Housing Triumphs at National Housing Heroes Awards

Hebron Housing achieved remarkable success at the national Housing Heroes Awards in Manchester last night. We secured two prestigious awards, an incredible accomplishment for an organisation that has been running for just over a year.

Hebron Housing now operates 15 beds across four properties, all of which have been at full capacity since Autumn 2023. Despite fierce competition from larger and more established organisations, Hebron Housing impressed the judges with their unique support style and innovative approach to funding. Hebron Housing grew out of Hebron House, the drug and alcohol rehab.

Shortlisted for three awards, an unusual achievement in itself, Hebron won “Best Team for Organisations with 1-1000 Beds.” CEO Emma Pawsey picked up the “Inspirational Leader” Award.

Gold-winning Olympian Diane Modahl hosted the black tie awards ceremony in Manchester. The excitement was palpable as Hebron Housing was announced for the Team of the Year award. The team expressed their delight and amazement at the recognition.

CEO Emma was thrilled and honoured to receive the Inspirational Leader award. Reflecting on the evening, she said, “This is a fantastic recognition of the great work we do. We couldn’t believe we won against so many prestigious and established housing organisations and councils.”

The Housing Heroes Awards celebrate the work and ideas that make a significant difference in housing. From promoting inclusion to encouraging innovation and enhancing health and wellbeing initiatives, the awards highlight the inspirational stories of those who live and work in the housing sector.
